The Southwest Insulation Contractors Association (SWICA) Board of Directors has formed the Mike Feehery Memorial Scholarship Fund in memory of SWICA member Michael Charles Feehery. Mike left his SWICA family and his loving family on May 13, 2022, creating a loss that many are still recovering from. The purpose of this industry-specific fund is to add value to SWICA member firms by awarding scholarship funds for industry training and continuing education, while also supporting the future of the industry.

Mike Feehery was often the first to step up and give a helping hand, and it seems fitting to honor his memory with this scholarship fund. Mike started working in the insulation services industry at age 15, established a foothold and achieved success working his way up over the next 48 years. First opening the SPI Houston branch in 1989, Mike became an industry leader who helped bring SPI to greater heights during his 33 years working there. He was a past president of SWICA and represented SWICA on the National Insulation Association (NIA) Board of Directors.
